Spicy Hashbrown Soup
What you need:
1 1/2 cups hash browns
1 cup water
3-6 pickled jalapeno slices
1/4 cup nutrional yeast
salt and pepper, to taste
What you do:
1. In a non-stick skillet, heat hash browns for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
2. Add water, jalapeno slices and nutritional yeast yeast flakes and stir until the flakes are blended.
3. Let heat until boiling. Remove from heat and add salt and pepper, to taste.
Source of recipe: I wanted something with potatoes and cheesy and came up with this one evening.

SO HOW'D IT GO?
This is on my stove now and I will be serving it for dinner along side a carrot salad from the site. This is scrumptious. I made it just like the recipe stated, except I used fresh grated potatoes, instead of frozen hash browns. If you do this, please allow for a bit more of simmering time. Other than that this is perfect, with a capital 'P'!!!
i added half an onion to this and extra jalapenos. it was alright. uuum... it tastes like it sounds it would taste. not spectacular, but good if you're pressed for time.
