Spice Cake

What you need: 

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 bags of chai tea
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons vinegar

What you do: 

Add the dry ingredients together (flour, sugar, tea, baking soda, salt, cinnamon) and stir. You need to cut open the bags of chai tea and pour out the spices. Then add the water, oil and vanilla. Add the vinegar right before you put it in the oven, you need to mix the vinegar in well. Cook at 350 for 40 minute to an hour. Or until you can put a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean. I ice it with vanilla icing.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This cake was pretty good overall but it had WAAAY to much suger, if I make it again I'll halve the suger at the very least.

This was really good! I made them into cupcakes and then the rest was a cake, but both turned out really well!

I also made a few adjustments. I only added 1 c. of water, the other was soymilk. And I didnt have any vanilla, so I left that out. I ran out of sugar so I only put in 1 and a half cups but that was fine since it was really sweet.

Awesome recipe and it goes really well with coffee and tea!
