Spagetti Sauce with textured soy protein
2 small cans of diced tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
1tablespoon fresh basil (minced)
1 medium onion (diced)
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 green pepper (diced)
1 red pepper (diced)
1 pinch of oregano, thyme, and marjoram
1/2 cup textured soy protein
Put olive oil in large pot along with garlic. Saute till golden brown. Then add onions and saute till translucent (add more oil if needed). After onions are cooked, add tomatoes along with the rest of the ingredients. Cook for about 30 minutes on low to medium heat. If the sauce is to soupy, you can put half of it in a blender, then add it back to the unblended.
I would also like to say that you can add anything that you want to this recipe; that is how it gets better.
