In a medium sauce pan, combine corn meal and water. Add a generous amount of chili powder & cumin and salt and pepper to taste. Cook over med heat until the mixture gets thick.
Pat mixture into the bottom of a baking pan and bake at 400 degrees for approximately 10 minutes to make crust.
Combine black beans, corn and veggie crumbles, and pour over crust. Pour the jar of salsa over the veggies, and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
You can also add some soy cheese and/or vegan sour cream if desired but its really good as is.

this recipe was OUTSTANDING! i made it two days ago and my husband and i killed it by the end of the second day. i added chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers and a can of green chiles. i put red pepper flakes in the crust and when i mixed all the veggies together i also put all the spices in with that. we sprinkled soy cheese on the top about five minutes before it was done. a 24 oz jar of salsa does the trick here. i'm definitely going to have this one as a weekly staple.  :o

I think you need to be more specific as to what size jar of salsa to use.
