South End Special Sarnie

What you need: 

a few slices tofu bacon
a few sliced mushrooms
1 (or 2) slices vegan cheese slices
soya margarine
salt and pepper
lots of vegan brown sauce
2 doorsteps of bread

What you do: 

Shallow fry the onions (I just use a tiny splash of oil) until brown, heat bacon through, then assemble the sarnie and scoff. This was a favourite of mine when I was a meat muncher and this is a good replacement.
