Tuscany Bread SandwichIngredients (use vegan versions): any of or all of the following:
black olives
tomatoes, sliced
garlic
sour dough french bread, 6 inches long cut in half length wise
basil
soy mozzerella cheese slices (optional)
diced onions
artichoke hearts
fatty ingredient (butter like)
Directions:Spread butter like ingredient on each of the slices of bread; spread garlic and basil, to taste. Then add any or all of the ingredients above. If you use the cheese, add that on the top. Broil for exactly 6 minutes on middle shelf. Good as an appetizer or a main dish.
Serves: 1
Preparation time: 5 minutes
This sounds great, I love broiled and baked sandwiches. I think that after I take it out of the oven, some balsamic vinegar and olive-or mild veg.oil- drizzled over the top would make this a perfect late dinner for me. thanks.
