2 cups chopped onions
5 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon oil
4 large jalepeno peppers
28 oz can whole tomatoes (chopped)
1/2 cup vinegar
3 TBS white sugar
pinch oregano and basil
HOT SAUCE add to taste
Saute onions and garlic together in oil until softened. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer well for 40 minutes. Chill and serve with torilla chips or use as a sauce for making nachos.
This is the basic recipe. You can spice it up even more by adding more JALEPENOS or HOT SAUCE of your choice.
