Salisbury Seitan

What you need: 

3/4 cup vegetarian refried beans
1/2 cup vital wheat gluten
1/2 cup quick oats
1/4 cup water + 1 teaspoon vegan beef style soup mix
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil

What you do: 

1) Combine all ingredients in a bowl and kneed until stringy. Divide dough into four equal parts and shape into patties.
2) Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat and brown patties on each side.
Goes well with my shiitake mushroom gravy recipe.

This one's definitely idiot proof, I made it successfully in one try. not to mention its soo delicious , will be adding to my cache of recipes
