Raw Cinnamon Sugary Oatmeal

What you need:

1 cup oat groats, soaked at least 12 hours
2 to 4 large medjool dates, pitted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch salt
1/4 cup raw nondairy milk
Stevia powder (optional)
Dried coconut chips (optional)

What you do:

1) Rinse soaked oat groats well and transfer to a blender or food processor. Add the dates, cinnamon, salt, and raw nondairy milk. Blend on highest setting until the mixture turns very creamy. Put in a bowl and enjoy!
If you want it a little sweeter, add more dates or a heavy pinch of stevia at the end. For some extra flavor and crunch, add some coconut chips. If you like your oatmeal creamier, double or triple the amount of liquid used.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

i made this today.  I did it adding sesame seed milk (which I love); cinnamon, nutmeg, and a small pinch of vanilla.  It was good, thick, and delicious.  However, it was toooo much for my digestive tract.....mixture of a grain coupled with a seed (fat/protein) made me sluggish....so I will try it again but without the "milk".
