SO HOW'D IT GO?

My whole life I have hated pesto - but for some reason it is appealing to me now. Traditionally it has pine nuts in it and I cant eat nuts. Does anyone know if I just make pesto from Basil, olive oil and garlic and salt/pepper, will it taste okay, or will it turn me off pesto for life?

I've gotta try this!! Pesto keeps well in the freezer, portion it out in freezer containers or bags, then it's ready made and delish when you want it.

does anyone know how long you can keep the pesto sauce for? and how would you know when it has gone bad already? i can eat rotten food and still not know that it has already decomposed. haha!
