Philly Cheese Steaks
1-2 tablespoons vegan margarine
1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
6 ounces (about 1 1/2 cups) vegan burger-style crumbles
sprinkle garlic powder
4 slices vegan mozzarella
2 hoagie buns/sub rolls
vegan marinara sauce, warmed, to serve
1. Cook the onion in the vegan margarine until soft and translucent. Add the crumbles and cook until heated through -sprinkle with garlic powder.
2. Lower heat and spread mixture out in pan. Top with slices of vegan cheese.
3. When vegan cheese is melted, pile into 2 rolls and top with warmed marinara sauce.
You could also saute some green pepper along with the onion.
