Peanut Butter Oatmeal

What you need: 

1/2 cup Quaker Oats
3 tablespoon peanut butter
2 tablespoon maple syrup

What you do: 

Put oatmeal in a small kettle with 1 C. water and boil until desired consistancy. Meanwhile place peanut butter and Maple syrup in a cereal bowl. When oatmeal is done simply pour into bowl and stir.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I love this reciepe!  I use chunky pb... and less than a tablespoon... then I add cocoa powder (a generous amount)... cinnamon,  and a smidge of stevia... it's a little peice of heaven for breakfast!

maybe use a little less peanut butter. i'm eating the day's amount of calories and fat. i didn't know my oats had nuts in it, so it's super nutty. i mean, i like nuts, but you can't have too much, y'know? i threw in a ton of muscatel raisins and some agave/maple syrups and also used vanilla rice milk instead of water to cook the oats. it's really sticky, which can be expected, so i imagine it to be really delicious with a too-big glass of orange juice and some jelly toast (pb&j!). make sure to pour the oats on top of the peanut butter to soften it - makes for a good twistin' of the spoon, y'see, yep.

This recipe was simple yet tasty.  This is going to be a favorite of mines.  Next time I will add bananas to it to give it a new twist.  Two thumbs up.
