Pea Soup - Raw Vegan

What you need: 

2 cups peas, divided
1 avocado
1 1/2 cups water
1 small onion, minced
salt and pepper, to taste

What you do: 

1. Set aside 1/2 cup of the peas. In a blender, puree the rest of the peas and the avocado with enough water to blend and give the desired consistency. It takes a few minutes of blending to get this really smooth in a conventional blender.
2. Salt and pepper to taste.
3. Pour in bowls and top with the reserved peas and onion.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

is it ok to use frozen peas in this? are frozen peas considered raw I wonder, they arent blanched prior to freezing so far as i know.
