PB and J Oatmeal

What you need:

1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup water
1 to 2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 to 2 tablespoons jelly

What you do:

Mix oatmeal and water, and cook according to package directions. Stir in the peanut butter and jelly.
This is really good! I usually use 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter and 1 tablespoon strawberry jelly.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I made this this morning. It was really good, but next time I'm going to put a little more jam or use a sweeter one (I used a Triple Berry one...I think it was Smucker's?). I was eyeballing the measurements, so there was a little less jam than peanut butter (I'm a new vegan, so my palate still has some expanding to do. The all natural peanut butter is growing on me pretty fast, though!). Can't wait to try again...maybe with homemade jam!

Freakin' awesome! Usually I don't like oatmeal but I'll be eating a lot of this. I used 2tbsp of pb and 2tbsp of blueberry jam, it was the perfect amount.
