Pasta Fagiole

What you need: 

1 small or large onion depending on how much you like
1-2 cloves of garlic
1-2 tablespoon olive oil
can of your favorite type of bean with water or equivalent of dried
1/2 cup to a cup of tomato sauce (it really depends on how much you like)
450g bag of pasta (maccaroni, shells, tubetti...any small pasta)
salt

What you do: 

This is pasta with beans, an Italian staple.
Chop onion and garlic and add to a sauce pan with 1-2 tbs. olive oil (or whatever you like). Sweat onion and garlic until translucent, then add 1/2 to 1 cup tomato sauce bring to a boil, then add the can of beans water and all. Cook bean mixture until beans are tender, add salt and pepper to taste. Bring 12 cups water to boil add 1-2 tbs. salt, add pasta, leave pasta a little firm drain half of the water and then add your sauce and bean mixture. Let cook for a few more minutes on medium heat and enjoy!!
