Am I supposed to blend the oatmeal first (to create a powder) or use whole oats.  I have tried it both ways and both ways it's really sticky and not very spreadable to my face.  I think it works well once I get it on my face, though.

I love this facial that I can do at home, just before I step into  the shower.  Witch hazel irritates my very dry skin, so I substitute a drop or two of essential oil of peppermint (lavender also works well), and I mix in about a tablespoon of olive oil or mineral oil.  Gentle enough to use daily!
