Moms Meatballs, Vegan-Style

What you need: 

2 jars tomato sauce
2 jars cranberry sauce
1 package firm tofu, finely diced
1 cup couscous reconstituted with 1 1/2 cups water and 6 teaspoons soy sauce
2 carrots, finely grated
1 egg substitute

What you do: 

In large pot, combine the four jars of sauce and bring to rolling simmer, stirring occasionally until sauce is smooth.
Meanwhile, combine tofu, reconstituted couscous, carrots and egg substitute. Stir well and form into balls.
Drop the balls one by one into the simmering sauce, stir gently. Reduce heat, simmer 1 hour, covered, stirring occasionally.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

what size jars are we talking about here?  Like 8 oz cans 16 oz cans?...

Anything you can use besides couscous?? I can't do the wheat thing... maybe millet or quinoa?
