SO HOW'D IT GO?

YUM! I added kelp granules to try to make it fishy, and it still didn't quite taste like tuna, but it was good!! And cheap & easy, what more could you want?

ever since a co-worker had a tuna sandwich i've been craving one.  This really hit the spot!  I'm glad i grabbed a few extra can of chikpeas while they were on sale.  I'm going to be making this again, and again, and again... :)

This isn't bad at all..actually with these adjustments, I really couldn't tell the difference between real tuna and this.  And believe me I ate tuna almost everyday! These are the additions: 1/2T lime juice, 1T chopped onion (fine chop), chili (hot) pepper, fresh - as much as desired, 1t grey poupon mustard, little drizzle of pickle juice, salt & pepper and nayonnaise.  I couldn't believe how "real" this tasted, I think the lime juice and pepper really cinched this for me. I seriously couldn't tell the difference. Don't have any doubts, make it-eat it!!

I dunno about tuna..but I think it's good as a chickpea sandwich! I used dijon nayonaise, yellow mustard, pickle slices, a little onion, and some cayenne pepper. It's a lot easier to mash after you have the liquid-ish ingredients added. : )

i love this stuff.  i keep it simple with just the chickpeas and the veganaise, last time though i added some marinated artichoke hearts that i rinsed most of the oil off of and sliced up.. sooooo good inside a warmed up pita pocket with a little tomato.

I couldn't believe how much this tasted like tuna!! Tuna is really the only meat that I ever miss, and now I don't have to! Thanks so much for this quick and easy recipe!!

yum yum!  I omitted pickles and dropped the mustard to 1 T.  I also added crushed nori because I did not have kelp powder.  I did not have onion so I added leeks and I added apple because that is how I use to eat my tuna when I was a kid.  How delicious!

Amazingly...this tastes a million times better than tuna...That was one of the things I kind of missed...but this filled that void for sure!  :)
