Veggie Worcestershire sauce

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1 part red wine vinegar
    1 part blackstrap molasses
2 parts soy sauce (to taste)

Directions:

Combine molasses and vinegar, stir, then add soy sauce to taste.  Make as much or as little as you like, just keep the proportions the same.  Refrigerate to store - if well-stirred, the ingredients should not separate.

Great to see this recipe for veggies with no anchovies. Thanks heaps

Well, I didn't taste it on its own or anything....but this was fabulous on my smothered tofu steaks. I used 2 tbs wine vinegar, 4 tbs soy sauce, and about 1 tbs of molasses. I added a splash of balsamic.  Smiley
