Italian Bread Bowl

What you need:

1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup cold water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cups bread flour

What you do:

1) Sprinkle yeast over warm water in a large bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes to proof.
2) Stir in salt, sugar and olive oil, mix well. Mix in cold water and then stir in the flour 1 cup at a time. When the dough is together enough to remove from the bowl, knead on a floured surface until smooth, about 10 minutes.
3) Form into a tight ball. Coat the dough ball with olive oil, and refrigerate in a sealed container for 16 hours. Be sure to use a big enough container to allow the dough to rise. Remove the dough from the refrigerator one hour prior to using.
4) Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray the inverted side of an oven-safe bowl with olive oil spray.Stretch the dough around the bowl making the crust part to your desired thickness. Spray the dough with olive oil before baking. Place the dough with the oven-safe bowl in the heated oven for 7 minutes. Remove from the oven and remove the oven safe bowl- your dough should hold shape at this point- place just the bread bowl back into the oven. Place it on the rack so it looks like a dome, not a bowl. Remove after 3 minutes.
Let cool and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes hour before serving. Heat in the microwave for 45 seconds or use cold.
Add salad, pasta, soup or chili- it's so good you can enjoy it plain too :D
Hope you like.
