IBS and Just Plain Yummy Breakfast Cereal

What you need:

2 cups raw oats
1/2 cup oat bran
1/2 cup flax meal
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup soy lecithin
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/8 cup apple pectin
(use vegan versions)

What you do:

Mix all ingredients in a large, resealable container. I recommend a tupperware container. Store in the refrigerator.
Mix 1/2 cup to 1 cup of cereal with enough water or milk to just cover the cereal. Microwave for about a minute or so or cook on the stove top until done, about 5-10 minutes. The consistency will be the same as oatmeal. Top with your favorite fruit, maple syrup or agave nectar for adding sweetness.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Pooh bear, I am so glad you finally posted this!  I have gotten out of the habit of eating it for a while and strangely enough was just going to return tomorrow morning.  This is the best IBS food ever!

Sorry, i'm obviously new to this, but what is 'IBS food'?  Thanks!   :)

in response to the previous post question, i would assume that "IBS food" refers to food that helps with irritable bowel syndrome, but i could be mistaken!
