I cant believe theyre vegan! Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies

What you need: 

1 2/3 cup of flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon cocoa
1/6 cup water
1 cup vegan chocolate chips

What you do:

In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients. in smaller bowl add margarine, vanilla and water into a microwave safe bowl to soften margarine if its not at room temperature. Combine all ingredients. Roll cookies into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for about ten minutes at 325 degrees F for a softer cookie or a bit longer for a more crisp cookie for dipping into your favorite glass of non-dairy milk ;) ENJOY!
This recipe is very basic and easily manipulated. try it without cocoa by replacing the cocoa with flour. Maybe add different chips or non at all. If you like nuts or raisins, try adding a few. I haven't tried every possible way...but if you try something new and it turns out great let me know im trying to broaden options :) Be blessed all! love and veggies!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

They came out pretty weird for me too, more like chocolate chip wafers than cookies, but they are very tasty. Probably won't make them again.

These are RICH!  I also couldn't get mine to rise, regardless of how long I left the dough in the fridge.  However, I thought about it and none of the ingredients really cause the rising action, so I guess the flatness should be expected.  Even though I cooked them for a long time, they did not completely cook.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!
