SO HOW'D IT GO?

Had been craving mint chocolate chip ice-cream but has been of the shelf here for a while. So when I found this they were in the oven shortly after. And they defiantly hit that craving spot. So Good.
Only used a level tsp of Baking Soda as per suggestion and they turned out amazing. Thanks so much for the recipe.

so... i made these.
but right before i started, i realized i didn't have any mint extract...
so i kinda totally altered the recipe.
i added like 2 tblspoon cocoa powder
and instead of mint extract, i used lemon o.o
i added a tad bit of vanilla too
and instead of using all that sugar, i used 1/4 cup brown sugar + 3/4 cup agave
and instead of using all that vegan butter, i used 1/4 cup vegan butter+3/4 cup apple sauce.
to my huuuuge surprise, they came out great! my mom loves them, too...
i was totally experimenting  :P
but apparently it worked.... :o :o ;)b :D

Tried these, I think the measurement for the baking soda is off - don't heap the spoon as suggested! Because mine came out tasting really strongly of baking soda and nothing else, proving inedible. Will try again though, and they looked lovely :)

I really like these. Definately was more of a cakey cookie for me. I used reg cane sugar as I didn't have any turpinado (sp?), and maybe that is why it came out so cakey. I'm also an eyeball-er which I know is a no-no for baking, haha.  All the ingredients were in my cabinet which was great!  COOKIES!

On second thought these were slightly dry. I had some left over dough so I tried again, but remember I substituted half my butter for apple butter so I didn't follow the recipe...Now I added cocoa (kind of a lot) and soy milk, I basically added a lot of chocolate then enough milk to get a wet dough. These came out FANTASTIC, like doughnuts but heavier, and minty, next I frosted them with Vanilla Frosting. and they were DIVINE!!

This was pretty good. I substituted apple butter for half the butter, so i didn't really make the recipe. But still I have no complaints. Thanks for the recipe!
