Green Beans and Mushroom

What you need: 

2/3 cup fresh green beans
vegan margarine or non-stick spray, as needed
1/3 cup white mushrooms
1/4 cup slivered almonds
2 tablespoons vegan Worcestershire sauce or Marsala wine, or soy sauce

What you do: 

1. Steam beans until tender , about 5 minutes.
2. Melt margerine or spray in saute pan. Saute mushrooms until shriveled, about 5 minutes.
3. Add beans and almonds to saute pan. Add Worcestershire/wine/soy and stir to coat. Saute 2-3 minutes and serve.

Delicious recipe.  I added more veggies for the same amount of sauce but it was still very flavorful.

This is a flavorful and quick recipe to make.  I served it on Thanksgiving and it was a hit at our table.

Recipe sounds yummy, I may try it next week. :)

Worcestershire sauce isn't vegan, or vegetarian. It has anchovies in it.

I have seen vegan options at my HFS
