Garlicky Carrots

What you need: 

3 tablespoons margarine
2 cloves garlic, crushed
4 large carrots, peeled and sliced crosswise1/2" thick
salt, to taste
1 teaspoon parsley flakes

What you do: 

1. Melt margarine over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until aromatic (but do not brown).
2. Add carrots, sprinkle with salt, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring every once in a while, until carrots are tender.
3. Add parsley and mix just before serving.

I don't know what went wrong. Carrots were good but too greasy and soggy for my liking. Next time I would cut the oil in half, add crushed garlic and turn the temp to broil so they would be crisp. These changes should make it tops. Thanks for submitting the recipe. You have good ideas.
