1/2 cup margarine
4 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 (16 ounce) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
4 tablespoons vegan parmesan, divided
paprika, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
1. Preheat broiler. Melt margarine, then add lemon juice and garlic. Brush each 1/2 bread with margarine mixture.
2. Top each 1/2 with approximately 2 tablespoons vegan parmesan, and then sprinkle with paprika, pepper, and salt, to taste.
3. Broil, close to the flames, for a few minutes. I don't do it for an exact time, you just need to keep an eye on it to make sure you don't overcook it.'
