Flax Seed Crackers

What you need:

2 cups whole flax seed
2 cups water
3/4 cup pumpkin or sesame seeds
3/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 to 2 cups diced onion
1 teaspoon Himalayan or sea salt
Salt, to garnish

What you do:

1) Soak flax seed with equal amount of purified water 4 to 24 hours. Soak any other seeds you choose in extra water for at least two hours then drain.
2) Slice as much as two cups onion. Mix the gooey flax with other drained seeds, onion, and salt.
3) Spread onto dehydrator trays and sprinkle with more salt. Dry until crisp, about 6 hours. This makes four square feet about 1/16" thick. Break into bite size pieces and store in mason jars.
Note: You can add other spices or vegetables to make variations of this recipe. With my own Cajun spice they almost taste like pizza. They are great on there own or with any dip, especially humus. Possibly shred some carrot or small dice tomato or ripe bell pepper to add new flavors to this recipe.
