Fast, Easy, Sweet and Hot

What you need:

jam, jelly or marmalade of choice (marmalades work best like: orange, lemon, grapefruit, passionfruit or guava)
hot sauce of choice (a vinegary one works best)

What you do:

Combine equal measurements of jelly and hot sauce in a blender and blend ‘til smooth. Use as a stir-fry or dipping sauce. I really like to use guava jelly and a really liquidy extra hot Caribbean hot sauce made with Scotch Bonnets (~Hanabneros), but this would make a great spicy orange sauce if you use orange marmalade. Experiment to see what you like. :)

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This is yummy and such a handy basic idea - kinda like vinegar (the essence of sweet 'n' sour) - thanks for sharing! :)
