Easy Mushroom Fried Rice

What you need:

1 chopped onion
2 or more cloves of minced garlic
about 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms, cut into smaller pieces but not chopped
2 cups cooked white rice (sometimes I use both brown and white rice together)
salt and pepper or other favorite seasonings, to taste
1 teaspoon olive oil

What you do:

Note: I don't take measurements, these are all estimates.
Heat oil in a pan on medium-high.
When hot, add garlic and saute until almost golden. Then add chopped onions until the onions are translucent.
Add mushrooms and saute until they look a little darker in color, or when you think they're about ready.
Add the cooked rice and fry around until hot, and keep adding your choice of seasonings until you think it tastes good.
You can eat this alone or with other foods.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I added soy sauce, nixed the garlic (didn't have any), and added a few broccoli florets and it was great.  Super super easy and quick. With the broccoli it was a whole meal in itself and it was very filling
