Easy Chickpea Sauce for Pasta

What you need:

2 cups of cooked chickpeas (soak the dried beans overnight, and then boil them till soft the next day using new water)
1 tablespoon olive oil
pinch of salt
pasta of choice

What you do:

Boil the chickpeas in salted water (about 2 tablespoons of salt?), till soft. Do not discard the cooking water!! Puree the chickpeas and some of the cooking water in a blender. If you want a thicker sauce, use less water. Too much water will make the sauce runny, so slowly estimate. Blend till smooth.
Pour the sauce over hot, cooked pasta. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
It's really fast and quick. If you want a heartier meal, have some raw vegetables at the side to eat.
