Easy Baking Powder Biscuits

What you need: 

2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons margarine
3/4 cup water

What you do: 

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix together dry ingredients.
2. Add vegan margarine and water; mix with fork. When dough forms a ball, knead it for at least 1 minute.
3. Roll out to 1/2" thick. Cut with the edge of a cup or glass. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Wow!  As the name states, these really are easy!  In almost no time I had warm yummy biscuits coming out of the oven.  As for the previous comments, I did not find these too salty, and my biscuits rose nicely.  This will most certainly become a regular recipe for me!

I cut the salt to 1/2 tsp and added parsley and some garlic powder. The dough was sooo yummy, but the biscuits didnt really rise. I ended up with about 14-15 biscuits instead of 12 so maybe I just rolled the dough too thin?? Anyway served with regular white gravy they were ok, actually pretty good (I'm munching on them now) - for very easy and simple biscuits! good for a quick craving but I will try another recipe when cooking for company.
