Cumin Pumpkin Soup

What you need:

1 - 15 ounce can pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
1 cup non-dairy milk
1 teaspoon cumin
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste, optional
Sage for garnish, optional

What you do:

1) Whisk everything but the bay and the seasonings/garnishes in a medium sauce pan, then set over medium heat until it comes to a simmer. Add seasonings. When it comes to simmer, simmer it for about 9 or 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
This makes 4 servings, about 3/4 cup each.
Garnish if you'd like with pumpkin seeds. That would be a nice touch.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

what the hell is non-dairy milk?

Perhaps you should look around the site a little more or use that handy little search bar at the top of your browser before you subject us and the recipe poster to your ignorance in such an aggressive manner. Please feel free to ask questions, but nobody is trying to pull a fast one over on you or anything.

Rice milk, soy milk, almond milk, hemp milk... you know, "milk" products that don't come from animals.
