Croutons For Dinner
3 cups cubed bread (any type but sourdough is prefered)
3 large cloves of chopped garlic
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup olive oil
small pinch of oregano
medium pinch of paprika
lots of sesame seeds
good amount of salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into a bowl and toss evenly to coat vegan bread. Scrape the mixture onto a cooking sheet and bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
Serving suggestion: Cut one large ripe (organic) tomato and place into a bowl. Add salt and pepper and a tablespoon or two of olive oil. Place mixture on top of croutons just before serving. Dont forget to eat the very flavorful garlic and sesame crumbs at the bottom of the bowl!
