Creamy Banana Oatmeal

What you need: 

1 cup vanilla rice milk
1/2 cup water
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8-1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 mashed banana
1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats

What you do: 

Put rice milk, water, cinnamon, and ginger in saucepan and bring to a boil. When boiling add banana and oatmeal. Stir and reduce heat till simmering. Cook 15 to 20 minutes uncovered stirring occasionally. Cool and serve.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Hi, I submitted this years ago and would like to put out a warning. I absolutely love this dish but had to quit eating it. After a few months of consuming this for breakfast I started to get intense stomach pain while eating it. I have since found that I have to be careful how and if I combine banana with other foods. Don't know how common an issue this is but I did feel like I should put that out.
