Cream Cheese and Guacamole Wontons
1 (20 ounce) package wonton wrappers
1 (8 ounce) package vegan cream cheese (I use Tofutti)
1 jalapeno, diced
guacamole, as needed
1. Preheat deep fryer to 365 degrees F. You can fry in these in a pan with oil, but the deep fryer works best. Lay out a couple wonton wrappers at a time.
2. Place approximately 1/2 teaspoon guacamole, 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese, and pinch jalapenos in the center of each wrapper.
3. Take each corner of the wrapper and fold inward so that all the corners meet, pressing the corners together so that no filling can get out.
4. Put the filled wontons in the fryer for approximately 5 minutes. When the filled wontons are done, put them on a plate with a paper towel underneath.
Let them cool for a few minutes or you will definitely scald your mouth! Serve with sweet chili sauce, yummy.
