3 cups barley malt sweetened carob chips
2 tablespoons nondairy milk (I use soy)
1/2 cup dates, diced
1/2 cup slivered blanched almonds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray. Melt the carob chips with the milk over very low heat.
2. Add dates, almonds and coconut. Remove pan from heat and stir to combine.
3. Drop by teaspoon onto prepared baking sheet, forming 2 dozen clusters. Chill.
Dont let the name put you off, these are fun candies to take to a potluck or give to a friend, and I have yet to find anyone who didn't like them, carob haters or not!
