Chef Boyarvegan Beefaroni
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
1 8-ounce cans of tomato sauce
10 ounces pasta (piccolini ziti or ditalini)
1 bag burger crumbles (I used Boca)
½ cup of vegan Parmesan substitute (I used Go Veggie)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 cup water (optional)
Salt (for pasta water)
1. In a large pot, cook pasta in boiling salted water per package directions.
2. In a large sauce pan, mix tomato soup, tomato sauce, burger crumbles, vegan parmasean substitute, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and italian seasoning. Stir occassionally until boiling and parmesean subsitute is well incorporated into the mixture.
3. Drain pasta and add to the sauce pan with the tomato sauce. Stir in water as needed to get to desired consistency.
