Cauliflower & Pea Shaak
1 teaspoon mustard seed, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 med Cauliflower divided into florets
1 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2lb frozen peas
1.5 tsps chilli powder, 2 tblsps ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon garam masala and a bunch of green
Heat a heavy bottomed pan. Add the mustard and cumin seeds. Place the lid on securely and wait for the seeds to finish popping.
Add a little water (about 1/4 inch). Add cauliflower andturmeric. Mix well.
Turn up the heat, cover and steam the cauliflower for 5 minutes or so.
Add the peas, chilli powder and ground coriander and mix well. Turn the heat to simmer, cover and cook until cauliflower is just tender. Sprinkle with coriander leaves and garam masala and serve over whole grain rice or any ot her grain.
