Cammy's Blue-Green Power Smoothy

What you need: 

2 1/2 to 3 cups soymilk
1 fresh or frozen banana
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 small handful fresh spinach
1 to 2 tablespoons spirulena powder (blue-green algae)
1 to 2 tablespoons agave
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla

What you do: 

1) Put all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for a minute or two.
Great pre- or post workout drink with plenty of protein. I usually add rice protein powder to mine for an extra boost. This is a complete meal in one drink!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I used a fresh banana, a giant raw beet leaf, a scoop of vanilla protein powder and some frozen spinach. Didn't add the cinnamon but might next time. I can't seem to find a good spiralina/green foods powder without wheatgrass and barley in it (gluten allergy) so I didn't add that either..still yummy though; great way to start off the new year!
