Cabbage No-Rolls

What you need: 

3/4 cup long grain or brown rice
1 1/3 cups water
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1/2 head cabbage, coarsely chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
dill, to taste

What you do: 

Combine all ingredients and simmer until rice and cabbage are tender.
If using brown rice, simmer rice for 15 minutes before adding other ingredients.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This was so simple...and tasty. I like a lot of rice, so I double the amount of brown rice, added a cup more water, and it turned out perfect.  It was warm, hearty, and most importantly, cheap to make!
