Best ever wholefood brownies

What you need:

1/4 cup vegan margarine (I used sunflower)
1 cup sugar (I use a combination of demurara and muscovado sugar)
1 large banana, mashed or other egg replacer (http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=7678.0)
1/4 cup wholemeal self rising flour
3 heaping tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
dark chocolate chips, optional

What you do:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease baking tray. Melt the sugar into the margarine in pan, and stir in the egg replacer.
2. Add all the other ingredients, except optional chocolate chips. Stir. Once thoroughly mixed, spread thinly across prepared baking tray.
3. Sprinkle chocolate chips (if using) evenly on top. Cook for 25 minutes, or until firm on top. Slice carefully before cool and loosen from pan. Cool individual pieces on a cooling rack.
Enjoy.
