BBQ Tofu

What you need: 

1 pound firm tofu, frozen & thawed
favorite vegan BBQ sauce
balsamic vinegar
vegetable oil

What you do: 

Slice tofu into 1/4 inch strips. Place strips between towels and squeeze out the water.
Place strips in a large bowl and sprinkle balsamic vinegar over tofu until the vinegar is absorbed.
Coat tofu entirely with BBQ sauce.
Using a cookie sheet, spread a light coating of vegetable oil over the sheet to prevent sticking.
Place tofu on cookie sheet and bake at 325 for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until tofu begins to dry, but not burn.
Put a light brushing of BBQ sauce on tofu and heat further until the BBQ sauce is hot.
Remove and serve as a main dish or serve on sandwiches.
Balsamic vinegar adds some zing and takes away to "Tofu-ey" taste.
