Banana French Toast

What you need: 

2 bananas
8 slices whole wheat bread
1 3/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

What you do: 

Blend bananas, almond milk, and cinnamon until smooth. Pour into a flat, shallow dish and soak bread slices 1 minute on each side. Transfer carefully to skillet and brown each side.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

SO GOOD! Im sad I didn't find this recipe sooner. I added corn flour like someone mentioned below and used butter to prevent sticking. It still stuck, but even mooshey it's gooooood.

yummy! but i do have to agree, it sticks... but even if you put nonstick so maybe adding flour...?

The recipe works better if some kind of thickener is added - like corn flour or egg replacer (ener-G or No egg). A non-stick pan is essential (it's the bananas that make it so sticky).

I tried this for breakfast this morning, and it didn't work for me.  I loved the taste, but it totally stuck to the pan.  I have a cast iron.  Maybe it would work if you had nonstick?  Next time I'll try one of the flour/cornstarch/soymilk blends.
