Authentic Thai Iced Tea

What you need:

8 cups of water
6 tablespoons Thai Tea (found in most Asian markets)
sugar or sweetener to taste
coconut milk, soy milk or rice milk
ice

What you do:

Thai Tea (authentic restaurant style) is made from a particular type of plant in Thailand. You can buy this tea usually loose in a clear bag at Asian Markets. I suppose you could also find it in a tin, but I never have. Those who don't live near any Asian markets should probably search for it online.
I have no real recipe that is vegan. I just went out on a limb to suggest using this type of dairy alternative. The restaurants use condensed milk or coconut milk usually.
Boil water in pan or kettle. Add Thai Tea, and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
Strain the tea and add vegan sugar or sweetener and dairy alternative to taste.
Let cool and refrigerate until chilled. Fill a tall glass with ice, pour tea over ice leaving an inch or so from the top and float some soy/rice milk on top.
My boyfriend also enjoys this as a hot tea using the same process less the cooling down and ice.
