1 1/4 cups shelled sunflower seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup water
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 to 2 tablespoons canola oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1) Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
Add water carefully if things stay too chunky. I really like garlic, and it comes out quite strong in this recipe, so adjust the amount according to your taste.
I would avoid using olive oil for this.
