1/4 cup bean broth (what is drained from cooked beans)
1/4 cup lentil broth (what is drained from cooked lentils)
1/4 cup mushroom broth (what is drained from cooked mushrooms)
1/4 cup vegetable broth
3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon teriyaki sauce
2 teaspoons vegan chicken bouillon
2 teaspoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon ginger
3 to 4 tablespoons cornstarch (optional)
1. Except for the cornstarch, combine all ingredients in a pot or microwave-safe bowl (bean broth, lentil broth, mushroom broth, vegetable broth, teriyaki sauce, bouillon, peanut butter, and ginger). Heat until just steaming (1 to 2 minutes in the microwave on high)
2. Stir the mixture until the peanut butter is thoroughly mixed into the other ingredients. Heat on the stove top or microwave again (1 minute in the microwave). Stir.
3. Use as a sauce (e.g., spoon over Lunabell's Teriyaki Mushroom Loaf). For thicker gravy (e.g., for biscuits and gravy), mix in 3 to 4 tablespoons cornstarch.
