salt and pepper, to taste
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup vegan margarine
1 large loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
2 teaspoons nutritional yeast, divided
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Add a pinch salt to the garlic pile and chop, smash and scrape with your knife to get it very fine.
2. Add garlic paste to the margarine. Add parsley to the margarine. Add pepper and salt, to taste.
3. Slather the mixture on the halves of bread, and sprinkle each with a teaspoon nutritional yeast.
4. Bake in the center of the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until edges are beginning to brown and the whole loaf is crispy.
