2 tablespoons vegan butter (I use Earth Balance)
1/4 cup grain-sweetened chocolate chips
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
2 cups soymilk
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1) Melt vegan butter in a small sauce pan. Add chocolate chips, cocoa, and sugar and melt until smooth. Whisk in soymilk and spices, heat until hot and smooth, then remove from heat. Add the vanilla and whisk until frothy. Serve in mugs.
