1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 package veggie ground round (roughly one pound)
1 16 oz can refried beans
1 16 oz jar salsa
vegetable oil for sautéing
hot sauce to taste
bread, pitas, burger buns, etc.
In a LARGE, hot frying pan, heat a little bit of oil - between ateaspoon and a tablespoon. Add the onion and garlic, toss to seal.Cook for a few minutes, just long enough for it to start smellingsweet instead of eye-searing. Add the veggie ground round, saute untilheated through. Finally, add the refried beans and salsa. Stireverything together; cook just until hot.
Serve on your favourite bread product with as much hot sauce as youcan tolerate.
