1 pear or 1 can sliced pears in natural juices
1 peach or 1 can sliced peaches in natural juices
1 large handful baby spinach
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Here's another way to get your daily intake of green leafies. It's great if you really don't like the taste of spinach.
I used canned pears and peaches for this recipe. Empty both cans of fruit into a Tupperware container and freeze for a couple of hours. If you use fresh fruit instead of canned, you may want to add a little water before freezing.
Blend the frozen fruit (and liquid), the spinach, and the vanilla extract until smooth.
You can always adjust the amount of spinach per taste. I used a very large handful and the taste was still disguised! :D
